Last Updated: May 2026
These Terms of Service describe the terms that apply when using the Virtual Derm Clinic website and virtual care services.
This website is intended to provide general information about Virtual Derm Clinic and allow eligible patients to request virtual skin care assessment.
You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes and to provide accurate information when submitting forms or communicating with the clinic.
Virtual Derm Clinic provides virtual skin care assessments for Alberta residents through licensed Alberta physicians. Virtual care may not be appropriate for every skin concern.
Submitting an online form or request does not automatically establish a physician-patient relationship. A physician-patient relationship is established only once your case has been reviewed and accepted by a licensed physician.
You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information. Incomplete or inaccurate information may affect the ability to provide appropriate care.
This service is not appropriate for urgent or emergency medical concerns, including rapidly worsening symptoms, severe pain, spreading infection, fever, allergic reactions involving breathing difficulty, or any situation requiring immediate medical attention.
Your privacy is important to us. Information submitted through this website and during virtual care is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Content on this website is provided for general informational purposes only and should not be taken as personal medical advice unless provided directly by a physician as part of your care.
We may update these Terms of Service periodically. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
